Banana Cafe
Monkey Forest's Banana Cafe serves a selection of baguettes, soups, jacket potatoes, chips and daily specials. Relax on the terrace and enjoy a relaxing coffee whilst basking in the sun.
Jungle shop
The jungle shop is a 'monkey lovers' delight! Shelf upon shelf of monkey memorabilia. Do not forget to have a look at our mascot Barbary macaques - It is the only place you will be able to get one from in the UK!
Picnic area
Bring your own snacks and enjoy the picnic area
(food brought onto the site cannot be eaten on the Banana Cafe terrace or under cover areas).
Please note that food is strictly prohibited in the monkey enclosure!
Picnics can be left on the entrance gate or taken with you providing food is covered.
Adventure Playgrounds
Monkey Forest now has two adventure playgrounds for your little monkeys! One for children aged up to 6 and the other is for your older more adventurous monkeys!
Please note that children must be supervised when using the playgrounds
Disabled Access
Most of the park is wheelchair friendly. The path is 3/4 of a mile around the forest on good terrain with a fairly steep hill up to one of the areas and a steeper hill down. Scooters usually get round the whole of the park unhindered. See recommended disabled access signs in the monkey enclosure.
Sorry there is no wheelchair hire.
Parking
There is ample free parking in front of the entrance to Monkey Forest.
Toilet & Nappy facilities
There are toilet and nappy changing facilities on site. There is also a disabled toilet.
Re-entry to Monkey Forest
If any member of your party needs to leave Monkey Forest and wishes to come back later in the day they need to call into the Jungle shop to collect a re-entry wristband.
